A cationic fluorocarbon surfactant DEFUMACl and its mixed systems with cationic surfactants: [super 19]F NMR and surface tension study
Article Abstract:
[super 19]F NMR spectroscopy and surface tension are used to investigate a cationic fluorocarbon surfactant system of diethanolheptadecafluoro-2-undecanolmethylammonium chloride (DEFUMACl) and both mixed systems of DEFUMACl/cationic dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride (DTACl) and DEFUMACl/cationic Gemini copolymer. The data has helped in understanding the peculiar behavior of cationic-cationic surfactant systems and the special evaluation for constructing mixed micelles of cationic-fluorocarbon and cationic-hydrocarbon amphiphilic mixtures.

Hydration and dewetting near graphite-CH3 and graphite-COOH plates
Article Abstract:
A study on the dynamics of water near the nanoscale hydrophobic (graphite-Ch3) and hydrophilic (graphite-COOH) plates is carried out in detail with molecular dynamics simulations. It is shown that these designed surfaces can have a significant impact on the neighboring water dynamics, with the hydrophilic carboxyl surface having even more profound effects.

Atomistic simulation of nafion membrane: I. effect of hydration on membrane nanostructure
Article Abstract:
The simulation of the effect of hydration on nafion membrane nanostructure at different degrees of membrane hydration reveals that the increase in membrane hydration causes the sulfonate groups to move apart.
